Job summary

GP&C is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in South Houston to provide engineering and technical support to the manufacturing organization, addressing major production problems and implementing cost improvement programs to produce quality products. You will lead continuous improvement using Lean tools, coordinate cross-functional projects, review processes and drawings, and ensure safety and uptime while meeting deadlines.

Travel up to 25% to the DFW area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications CMfgE, CMfgT, CQE, PMP.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black Belt.
• 5+ years as Manufacturing Engineer; 8+ years manufacturing experience if needed for certification.
• Experience with tooling and/or mold design preferred.
• Up to 25% travel to the DFW area.
