Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of heat transfer products at Cheektowaga, NY. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering to optimize processes, implement new technologies, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, proficiency with Lean/Six Sigma, ERP systems (AS400 preferred), and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience working with ERP systems (AS400 preferred).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance with cross-functional teams.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and optimize processes; justify CAPEX for equipment and improvements.
