Job summary
Silgan Evansville, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead capital projects, drive continuous improvement, and optimize equipment reliability across our Evansville operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to advance safety systems and process optimization while supporting other plants as needed at Hazleton, PA and Richmond, IN.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience with PFMEA and process improvement methods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from planning through implementation and completion.
- Drive process improvements and equipment optimization.
- Develop safety systems compliant with OSHA standards and Silgan policies.
- Manage plant budgets and annual capital expenditures.
- Identify cost reductions, scrap reductions, and productivity gains.
- Lead cross-functional teams on engineering and operational projects.
- Support energy reduction and sustainability initiatives.
