Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead a team focused on operational excellence. You will drive process improvements, optimize maintenance strategies, and ensure manufacturing operations run at peak efficiency.

You will lead the manufacturing and validation of first-of-kind low-voltage switchboard products from concept to production launch, support launches, and push for continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) is desired.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operation, or industrial engineering.
  • Strong ability to work with people on the shop floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution and project management.
  • Proven leadership with coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills addressing routine and complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset that builds trust across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing and validation of first-of-kind low-voltage switchboard applications from concept through production launch.
  • Support launch projects, determine cost estimates, design concepts and engineering criteria with layouts for projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and industry benchmarks.
  • Support tooling, fixture and equipment design, purchase, and maintenance.
  • Support audits and implement corrective actions, validation and qualification.
  • Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, supervisors and hourly line associates to solve manufacturing issues and drive safety improvements.
  • Support data center customer programs and ensure production readiness and project execution.
