Job summary

Intuitive in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an entry-level manufacturing engineer to support multiple Ion platform manufacturing lines, including mature and new instruments and accessories. The role emphasizes collaboration across Quality, Design, and Manufacturing to improve processes and lead line transfers.

You will help establish processes, develop fixtures, ensure GMP compliance, and mentor others as needed to enable transfers and reliable production.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing line transfer projects across two plants.
• Procure, assemble, and qualify custom mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Improve equipment documentation and design for continuous improvement.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, and transfer knowledge to new engineers and assemblers remotely.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical equipment problems with third-party vendors as needed.
• Establish regular communication with the production team to support short and long term needs.
• Ensure GMP, design history file (DHF), and device history record (DHR) compliance per FDA requirements.
