Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support Operations in the Space and Mission Systems segment in Palm Bay, FL. You will gain exposure to manufacturing, quality, test, EHS, and continuous improvement while working on wireless, fiber optics, robotics, and RF devices for intelligence and cyber applications.

This internship offers hands-on experience in developing manufacturing plans, conducting RCA, and building digital dashboards with PowerBI, with a 9/80 schedule

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Baseline Hours per Unit (HPU) for product lines.
• Develop process improvements and plans to create efficiencies.
• Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new product introductions.
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
• Support development of digital dashboards using PowerBI systems enhancing manufacturing metrics.
• Provide logistics support for optimizing product flow and throughput.
• Support Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption and application to manufacturing work cells.
• Work on cross-functional teams supporting the business.
• Quality assurance development of mistake-proofing, RCCA.
