Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree in Engineering or Applied Science with automation/robotics focus.
• Skills in data analysis, electronics, software engineering, robotics/automation, or mechatronics.
• Internship/Co-Op seeking candidates for hands-on manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the engineering and maintenance functions.
• Problem-solving on current and prospective process opportunities.
• Gain understanding of patterns, tooling and layout, and system operations.
• Understand blow molding and assembly process for automotive fuel systems.
• Conduct cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to reduce scrap and downtime.
• Create standardized work instructions as needed.
• Analyze Scrap and Downtime on a production line using Pareto and trend scrap drivers.
• Work to analyze operational equipment efficiencies and drive improvements via A3/root cause analysis.
• Participate in operational meetings and assist the NPI group for flawless launches.
