Textron’s Kautex operation in Lavonia, GA offers an Engineering internship centered on automation and robotics. You will collaborate with engineering and maintenance, study cycle times, and learn blow molding and assembly processes for automotive fuel systems.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a university degree in Engineering or Applied Science with a focus on automation or robotics.
Preference for candidates with skills in Data Analysis, Electronics, Software Engineering, Robotics/Automation, Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

Work closely with engineering and maintenance functions.
Conduct cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and reduce scrap and downtime.
Analyze patterns, tooling, layout, and system operations in blow molding and assembly processes.
Create standardized work instructions as needed.
Assist NPI group to ensure flawless project launches.
