CNH Industrial's Racine facility is offering a Manufacturing Engineer Intern position to gain hands-on experience with production teams and process optimization in a fast-paced environment.

Interns work full-time during the summer (May–August) and must be enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in manufacturing or engineering. The program provides mentorship, training, and housing support to help develop tomorrow's engineering talent.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced env.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills and basic data analysis experience.
• Farming background or experience in agriculture, construction, or landscaping preferred.
• Some positions may require travel to other sites.

Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose

The Racine Manufacturing Operations team supports a wide range of engineering processes and production lines to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in plant operations. By driving process improvements and problem‑solving initiatives, the team plays a key role in delivering high‑quality agricultural equipment to customers.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience working with production teams, supporting process optimization projects, and applying engineering principles in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering processes and production line operations at the Racine facility


• Applying root cause analysis to identify and implement robust, sustainable solutions to production challenges


• Contributing to process improvement projects that enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency


• Assisting with data analysis and reporting to support decision‑making in manufacturing operations


• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines and operational goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Pay Transparency

The hourly salary for this role is $23.69 - $27.81/hr plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
