Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a versatile Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production. This hands-on role focuses on New Product Introduction (NPI) and providing technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

You will ensure scalable, efficient manufacturing for electro-mechanical systems, work with CAD/PLM data, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related)
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and experience with PLM/ERP systems
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods (CNC, molding, sheet metal, etc.) and assembly standards
• Ability to collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve complex technical queries

Responsibilities

• NPI & Design Support: Lead transitions from R&D to production and participate in design reviews for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Documentation: Interpret and clarify drawings, schematics, and BOMs; act as main technical contact for internal teams and suppliers.
• Process Optimization: Develop and validate assembly methods, tooling, and test processes; drive lean initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align specs and support supplier onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
