Job summary

Coworx Staffing Services LLC in Charlestown, NH, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to support sheet metal operations on the production floor. Direct-hire role focusing on process improvements that boost efficiency, quality, and throughput.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
  • Strong experience supporting sheet metal manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, forming, cutting, machining, and assembly processes.
  • Experience developing and implementing manufacturing processes and process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a highly collaborative approach with operations teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with operators, supervisors, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for sheet metal production operations.
  • Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows.
  • Develop floor plans and layouts for new equipment installations and production line improvements.
  • Evaluate and optimize fabrication, forming, cutting, machining, and assembly processes.
  • Support capital equipment projects from concept through implementation.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Train and support operators and technicians on new equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Participate in new product introduction efforts and provide manufacturability feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Manufacturing Engineer III

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000
Manufacturing Engineer III - Sheet Metal Operations
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to support and optimize sheet metal manufacturing operations at a growing production facility in Charlestown, NH. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working directly on the production floor, collaborating with operators and leadership, and driving process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sheet metal processing, fabrication, manufacturing process development, and equipment implementation. Experience with welding processes and facility layout planning is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
