Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis (Minitab).
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards) and PLM systems (Enovia).
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive manufacturing projects from planning to execution.
• Apply Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S) to improve processes, layouts, and waste reduction.
• Support capital expenditure requests byJustifying and implementing new equipment.
• Design and develop production fixtures to improve quality and streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root-cause analysis for sustainable solutions.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders and keep manufacturing docs up to date.
• Mentor and guide a team of manufacturing engineering technicians.
