Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience; or advanced degree with no prior professional experience.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities in electro/mechanical assemblies.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Proficient in DFMA with structured problem-solving approaches.
• Experience with CAD modeling, PLM or PDM systems.
• Experience with Engineering Change Management processes.
• Familiarity with OMS, process planning, and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.
• Design, develop, and implement safe, cost-effective manufacturing equipment and methods.
• Define processes for high-volume manufacturing including routes and sequencing.
• Perform virtual build and sequence assembly.
• Investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Review designs to improve manufacturability and assembly.
• Coordinate new product builds in pilot production with engineering teams.
• Create and release engineering drawings and BOMs via ECN processes.
