Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for its Cardiovascular team in Massachusetts. You will improve processes across manufacturing lines, using Lean and Six Sigma to reduce defects and boost yield, while ensuring compliance with FDA, QSR and ISO standards.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree and 3+ years in manufacturing, preferably medical devices, with strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills. Competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device industry and/or cleanroom environment.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of FDA, QSR and ISO regulations; MS Office; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control manufacturing processes while reducing defects and enhancing productivity and product quality.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze process data and communicate issues.
• Develop data systems for defect tracking and process improvements.
• Partner with team to implement corrective actions and improve yield.
