Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. This role provides technical support to the manufacturing engineering team, operations and personnel, and participates in the design and implementation of automation and process initiatives.

You will drive lean improvements, assess machinery, support ERP processes (Infor Syteline), develop assembly instructions, and help maintain ISO 9001-2015 documentation while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in assembly and machining.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Improve efficiency by analyzing workflow, layout, and equipment.
• Support productivity and process improvements.
• Identify lean manufacturing opportunities.
• Assess machinery and tooling and coordinate purchases.
• Support large capital project initiatives.
• Create and administer automation solutions.
• Develop fixturing for assembly operations.
• Document procedures compliant with ISO 9001-2015.
• Support ERP processes (Infor Syteline).
• Develop assembly instructions and production training materials.
• Support global initiatives.
