Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) seeks Manufacturing Engineers to optimize DFM across digital and physical builds, using SolidWorks to edit production-ready designs. You will develop standard work, tooling, and process improvements while mentoring on manufacturing best practices on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates bring CAD proficiency, root-cause analysis, and experience with welding, machining, and ERP/change control.

Qualifications

• DFM must be applied during digital design and physical builds.
• Strong CAD skills with ability to create and edit drawings.
• Hands-on experience with welding, machining, and assembly.
• Ability to communicate between Engineering and Production.

Responsibilities

• Review designs for manufacturability during digital design and physical build.
• Use SolidWorks to create/edit designs for production.
• Develop and edit CAD drawings and standardize DFM documentation.
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Support production through training on standard manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot build issues and clarify engineering intent.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, and standardization.
