Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Plano, TX to support day-to-day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting electrical and automated production equipment. The role focuses on reliability, throughput, and quality through continuous improvement.

The candidate will develop and optimize electrical test systems, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and analyze performance data to implement durable corrective actions that prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated or high-volume production environment.
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE), data acquisition systems, or manufacturing testers.
• Hands-on diagnostic skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electrical troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and circuit troubleshooting, plus strong root cause analysis and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and automated production equipment to restore uptime and maintain quality.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize electrical test systems and manufacturing processes to improve reliability and throughput.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, reduce recurring issues, and increase productivity.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical problems and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze equipment and process performance data, assist with root cause investigations, and implement sustainable solutions that prevent reoccurrence.
