Engineering support for highly automated assembly line in clean room environment (Class 8). Trouble shoot existing automation equipment and support maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime. Identify opportunities for automation within the manufacturing facility, create conceptual design and user needs document, and work with external/internal vendors to create automation solution. Validate manufacturing equipment using Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) process. Using Solidworks, design relevant fixturing, tooling, and equipment modifications. Develop and document work instructions to train operations' personnel on various processes and equipment.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of work experience in the job offered or related role in the Automation Industry.
OR a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or related role in the Automation Industry.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Solidworks;
Equipment and Process Validation using Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ);
Automation Equipment Design; and,Technical report writing.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in Statistical analysis using Minitab.
Must be willing to travel domestically up to 20% of the time to visit client sites.
