An established industry player is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to enhance automation in a clean room environment. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment, identifying automation opportunities, and collaborating with vendors to develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, particularly in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, and have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and equipment validation processes. Engineering support for a highly automated assembly line in a clean room environment (Class 8). Troubleshoot existing automation equipment and support maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime. Identify opportunities for automation within the manufacturing facility, create conceptual design and user needs documents, and collaborate with external/internal vendors to develop automation solutions. Validate manufacturing equipment using the Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) processes. Use SolidWorks to design relevant fixturing, tooling, and equipment modifications. Develop and document work instructions to train operations personnel on various processes and equipment.
Employment Details: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Of the required experience, must have at least 2 years in each of the following areas:
Additionally, must have 1 year of experience in statistical analysis using Minitab.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% to visit client sites is required.
