Manufacturing Engineer II (Finance)

As a Manufacturing Engineer II at Honeywell, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. Your duties include developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, design, and maintenance to ensure efficient and cost-effective product manufacturing. This role reports directly to the Logistics Manager and is based at our Muncie, IN location on an onsite, first shift schedule.

You will impact manufacturing efficiency and quality by driving continuous improvement and cost reduction. Your collaboration with various teams will ensure smooth production processes and adherence to industry standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
2. Provide technical guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues promptly.
3. Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement solutions, and optimize manufacturing operations for efficiency.
4. Create and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
5. Collaborate with design, maintenance, quality, and procurement teams for smooth production.
6. Identify potential manufacturing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all manufacturing processes.
