Responsible for the implementation of custom foam mold machine and custom box cutting machine into the packaging operation of an annual demand of approximately 50,000 pieces and 500 unique packages.
Activities will include, but are not limited to, equipment IQOQPQ, equipment programming with equipment manufacturers, developing work instructions, and re-layout of the work area with the new process.
Coordinate packaging re-validation with engineering (quality signoff), operations (obtaining and testing inventory), and the manufacturer (on updated packaging design).
Implement LEAN and 5S practices and methodologies into process setup and design.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a 4-year program and a minimum GPA of 3.0, or 1+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
