Job summary

Aequor Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II- A Product/Technical Steward to own lifecycle management of electronics products and to serve as the SME within MS&T for the assigned discipline.

You will support End of Life changes, ensure changes have objective evidence, coordinate with R&D, Procurement, Technical Service, Production and QA, and lead improvements to manufacturing processes and product performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or greater in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering is required.
• 2 years of directly related engineering experience, including circuit analysis, electromechanical design and tolerance analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across locations and interact with all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Supports End of Life (EOL) component changes to maintain production continuity.
• Ensures component changes have objective evidence and comply with specs and regulations.
• Ensures PCB assemblies are properly designed, tested, and released to production.
• Leads or supports continuous improvement projects for Operational Excellence.
• Supports design reviews for tech-transfer and R&D projects.
• Provides second-line technical and scientific process support.
• Collaborates with R&D, Procurement, Technical Service, Production, and QA to sustain current products and develop next-gen processes, systems, and fixtures.

Job Description: Job Summary: A Product/Technical Steward serves as the Subject Matter Expert within MS&T for the stated Engineering Discipline. The Product/Technical Steward supports lifecycle management of new and future products.

The Electrical Engineer Product/Technical Steward:

Supports End of Life (EOL) component changes, from simple resistor changes to major assembly changes to assure continuous uneventful production is maintained.

• Assures component changes are properly assessed to assure the change is supported by objective evidence and maintains compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Assures component changes are properly introduced to assure continuous, uneventful production.

Assures PCB assemblies are correctly designed, tested, and released into production.

Support or lead continuous improvement projects to support Operational Excellence activities.

Support Design Reviews for Tech-Transfer and R&D projects.

Provides second line technical/scientific process support.

This position will work closely with R&D, Procurement, Technical Service, Production lines, and QA to maintain current product lines and develop next generation world class manufacturing processes, systems, fixtures, and products.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Bachelor's or greater in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering is required.

2 years of directly related experience in engineering role, including understanding circuit analysis, electromechanical design and tolerance analysis.

Capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams across multiple locations and providing technical and process direction and interacting with all levels of management.
