Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

Responsibilities include developing processes, troubleshooting equipment, analyzing data, and implementing lean practices while ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and basic data analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar training preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and cross-functional improvement leadership.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
