Coopind is seeking an Engineer I to determine methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for simple to moderately complex products. You will create work instructions and supporting procedures and help ensure a smooth transition to production.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Engineering with 2 years of relevant mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering diagrams, tolerances and specifications.
  • Interpret customer specifications and build standards.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • PM19

Responsibilities

  • Determine methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for simple to moderately complex products.
  • Create engineering changes in response to ECRs.
  • Create work instructions and supporting procedures.
  • Design, develop, and implement tooling to support the transition to manufacturing.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting completion of a manufacturing project.
  • Provide technical support to production and Quality Assurance to improve productivity and reduce costs.
