Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I/II to troubleshoot production issues, document downtime, and support development of manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on process improvement, data collection, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, efficient operations. Level 1 and Level 2 base pay ranges are provided, with relocation assistance and a broad benefits package including 401(k) match and stock contributions.

Qualifications

• 4 Year BS or 6+ years equivalent experience required.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, including ESPRIT.
• Basic understanding of Vericut or similar simulation software.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Production Support: troubleshoot basic process issues and assist operators; document downtime trends; evaluate hardware for repair/rework.
• Manufacturing Process Ownership: develop and maintain manufacturing processes; ensure workflows reflect production requirements.
• Process Capability and Improvement: analyze process capability; identify minor production issues.
• Production Documentation Management: maintain SOPs and process flow diagrams; ensure accessibility.
• Project Support and Leadership: track milestones; support basic project tasks.
