Job summary

Woodward’s Fort Collins, Colorado team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I/II to support production operations, troubleshoot processes, and help maintain efficient workflows. The role includes documenting downtime, basic hardware disposition, and contributing to process improvements with data-driven analyses.

Level 1 offers base pay opportunities with scope for growth to Level 2, plus relocation support and an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

BS in engineering or 6+ years related experience.
Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling and workholding.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, including ESPRIT.
Understanding of G-code, machine offsets and program verification.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to troubleshoot basic process issues and assist operators in maintaining workflows.
Document downtime trends and evaluate defective hardware for basic disposition actions such as rework or scrap.
Manufacturing process ownership: develop and maintain manufacturing processes and production documentation.
Process capability and improvement: collect data to support evaluations and drive small improvements.
Production documentation management: maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams and work instructions.
