Job summary

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to apply education and experience in bringing new product designs into manufacturing, driving process improvements and solving manufacturing problems.

The role collaborates across engineering, supply chain, operations, sales and quality to support existing products and new launches. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent, plus internship or co-op experience, and may require up to

Qualifications

• Internship, Co-Op or equivalent industry project experience.

Responsibilities

• Interprets mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols.
• Conducts prototype manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions.
• Works with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support of existing products.
• Develops basic tools and fixtures; researches and specifies manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Creates and maintains mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation.
