Vytran is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I in Optical Metrology to join the team at Newton, NJ to support the design, calibration, and production of high-precision measurement systems used on the factory floor.

Job description

Newton, NJis home to 45% of all Thorlabs employees spread across several facilities. Our teams design and manufacture optics, fiber, optomechanics, and electronics products. This location is home to our US distribution hub, state-of-the art machine shop and anodization facility, as well as administrative groups, including Marketing, Customer Success, HR, IT, and more. Morganville, NJis home to our Vytran ® division of 50 engineers and support staff. The group specializes in high-performance fiber processing technologies and solutions for the factory floor.

Sparta, NJhouses our Thorlabs Measurement Systems (TMS) group of 30 employees who design large-format, granite-based video and x-ray measurement systems.
