Job summary

Ascentec Engineering LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our team in Dallas, Oregon. This onsite role focuses on enhancing production quality, efficiency, and volume through proactive project management and process development.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve material flow, tooling, and equipment while analyzing data to drive continuous improvement and standardized work practices. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects aligned with business objectives and lean manufacturing principles.
• Optimize production methods, material flow, tooling, assembly methods, and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and apply new processes.
• Document, test, and evaluate processes and equipment for new products.
• Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for engineering projects.
• Develop strong relationships with internal teams and support continuous improvement.
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges through root cause analysis and lean methodologies.
• Contribute to the design and installation of new production machinery and equipment upgrades.
• Support development of standardized work methods and practices.
