Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of related professional engineering work experience.
• Hands-on concepts for production tooling and process engineering.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Understanding of DFA/DRM and lean principles.
• Knowledge of business acumen and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and modifies equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the production line.
• Reviews procedures and bill of materials for accuracy and improvement.
• Negotiates design for manufacturability and product requirements.
• Conducts testing and evaluation of products and processes.
• Conducts studies to improve layout, efficiency and line control.
• Develops testing procedures to anticipate potential failures.
• Collaborates on program objectives and product specifications.
• Provides technical support to ensure manufacturability of developed products.
