Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, production, or process improvement.
• Internship experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment acceptable.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, production methods, and work cycles to identify opportunities for productivity gains.
• Conduct time studies and support cycle-time reduction, line balancing, and workflow optimization.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Assist with production planning by evaluating machine capacity, schedules, and workforce.
• Identify and recommend solutions to safety, quality, productivity, and cost issues.
• Support tooling corrections, layout improvements, and equipment utilization.
• Apply lean principles and continuous improvement to reduce waste.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, flow diagrams, production records, and layouts.
• Assist in creating/managing routings and ERP documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Monitor production data and quality records to ensure standards.
• Use CAD software to review or develop drawings and layouts.
