Bal Seal Engineering in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to provide hands-on support for day-to-day production, drive continuous improvement, and help design/manufacture tooling, fixtures, and processes. The role focuses on resolving production issues, updating BOMs and routers, and implementing process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 0–3 years of experience with a strong grasp of GD&T and solidWorks/Inventor.

Competenze

• This role requires a hands-on approach to support day-to-day production needs.
• Experience with CAD for manufacturability and cost (DFM/A) is preferred.
• Experience with machining of polymers and metals is a plus.
• Lean and continuous improvement experience is desirable.

• Review designs for manufacturability and cost (DFM/A).
• Support selection and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
