Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support production initiatives for high‑reliability electronics. You will collaborate with design, QA, and manufacturing teams to improve assembly, manufacturability, and process efficiency.

The role requires a mechanical/industrial/ manufacturing or mechatronics background, 1–3 years of experience, and US person status. On‑site schedule with a 9/80 option and growth opportunities within a top Long Island employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics.
• 1–3 years of experience in an Engineering and Manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Person (citizen or lawful permanent resident) with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and production aids to improve assembly and throughput.
• Resolve manufacturing challenges with cross‑functional teams to improve production readiness.
• Evaluate production methods and implement changes to improve yield, cost, and quality.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers for prototypes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Develop standardized work instructions and assembly procedures for electronic products.
