Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for plant production by responding to line disruptions and issues.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflows, space requirements, and equipment layouts.
• Design and build custom tooling and fixtures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Project engineers and Product engineering to ensure efficient production methods.
• Work with vendors on specifications and purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, or parts.
• Manage projects through planning, development, and implementation.
• Coordinate with other Manufacturing Engineers to ensure manufacturing consistency.
• Use 3D CAD for tooling development and 2D CAD for plant layout adjustments.
• Conduct production time studies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-4 years of industrial experience.
• Knowledge of computers and PLCs.
• Proficiency with Co-Create CAD products, SolidWorks, DraftSight, and MS Office.
• Understanding of machine tool operations and safety standards.
• Familiarity with standard practices within the field.
• Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to achieve goals.
