Job summary

RTX Diné Facility in Farmington, NM is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, control, and improve manufacturing processes in collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary team. You will translate engineering requirements into production methods, monitor performance, and lead improvement projects to reduce cycle times.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and 0+ years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with 0+ years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contracts
  • Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Experience/education with project execution
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • Knowledge of Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines and an innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology
  • Ability to work in a team environment with solid organizational skills and the ability multi-task
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams. As a Manufacturing Engineer with our Raytheon team, you’ll apply your skills to help to develop, test, modify and create solutions through a collaborative effort with our stakeholders.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
