Job summary

Intercontinental Engineering – Manufacturing Corporation in Riverside, MO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Machining) to own end-to-end CNC machining processes on horizontal boring mills and large lathes.

This is a hands-on, first-shift role with real ownership, strong collaboration, and a full benefits package. Intercon has a long history in marine and defense machining and offers opportunities to bring in new methods and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Thorough understanding of GD&T and reading complex drawings.
• Experience programming CNC controls using G-code.
• Real machining experience including setup and tooling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and shop floor communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and push for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end machining processes for large parts on horizontal boring mills and lathes.
• Develop, modify and review G-code and CNC programs.
• Create PFMEAs, process control plans, work instructions, and change control.
• Specify tooling and equipment and justify capital purchases.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Lead root-cause analysis to reduce scrap and rework.
• Develop standard work and drive it across shop floor processes.
