Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to sustain and improve production of complex electromechanical equipment in a low-volume, high-complexity environment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on the floor, lead root-cause investigations, and implement robust corrective actions to improve manufacturability, repeatability, and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering, or hardware support.
• Experience sustaining production lines for complex electromechanical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, 3D models, BOMs, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical hardware issues on the production floor, diagnosing problems and implementing fixes.
• Lead structured root-cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain assembly instructions, work instructions, and technician training materials.
• Execute engineering changes, deviations, and rework directives in production with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Field Service, and Supply Chain to close the loop on issues.
