Job summary

A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer in the Hartford area seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate production planning, BOMs, routers, travelers, and manufacturing documentation.

This role drives on-time delivery by aligning materials, work orders, and processes across Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and 3–7 years of manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production planning, industrial engineering, or manufacturing operations
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing documentation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing work orders from planning through production
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), routers, travelers, and manufacturing documentation
• Use ERP/MRP systems to organize production flow and maintain accurate manufacturing data
• Partner with Purchasing to ensure materials and outside services arrive when needed
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to keep projects on schedule
• Identify production bottlenecks before they impact delivery
• Recommend improvements that increase efficiency and reduce lead times
