Aeon in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and implement manufacturing systems for the transition from NPI to full-rate production of complex guided‑munition subassemblies and final assemblies. You will work cross‑functionally with design, quality, and supply chain to drive manufacturing readiness, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in an AS9100‑regulated environment.

This is a full‑time, in-person role located in Austin with plans to move to Cedar Park, TX in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with DFM/DFA, process design, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX for tooling/fixture design.
• Experience with an MES platform (Tulip or similar).
• Able to work in a rapidly changing, early-stage environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead DFM/DFA reviews during early design phases to ensure manufacturability.
• Own and facilitate PFMEA as a living document from concept to production.
• Develop and mature control plans with Quality Engineering.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and workstations using Siemens NX and manage CAD revisions.
• Define process flows, cycle times, and station balancing for assemblies.
• Configure and maintain digital work instructions in the MES.
• Perform IQ, OQ, PQ on installed equipment.
• Participate in project technical reviews for manufacturing readiness.
• Support root-cause investigations for process nonconformances.
