Location and Work Environment

This position is based in Herndon, VA; Austin, TX; Columbus, OH; or Seattle, WA, with a requirement to work onsite five days a week when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between design engineers and contract manufacturers
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and drive resolutions
• Oversee line design, process, equipment, and training at manufacturing sites
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to improve cycle times and reduce costs
• Streamline supply chain processes and communicate risks to leadership
• Contribute to product design improvements based on manufacturing feedback

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years leading electrical infrastructure manufacturing for data centers
• Experience with product development, design improvements, and PLM systems

Preferred:

• Project management, supply chain improvement experience
• Knowledge of ERP systems, data center architectures, and business case analysis
• Leadership, problem-solving skills, and alignment with Amazon’s leadership principles

Additional Information
