• Provide technical training to professional and hourly staff.
• Research and promote new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Support production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure quality output.
• Promote use of SmartCAM software and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

CNC Programmer United Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, CNC programming, tooling, and manufacturing process improvement. This individual will develop and maintain CNC programs, support production operations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.

Pay: $80,000-$110,000/yr depending on experience Schedule: Mon-Fri: 7am-4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and implement CNC programs and tooling plans, modifying existing programs as needed to meet production requirements.
• Maintain accurate CNC program revisions and ensure updated programs are available to manufacturing teams.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate engineering projects to improve production processes and overall performance.
• Evaluate tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement or replacement.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies to support company financial goals.
• Prepare bids and proposals for customers, equipment purchases, and tooling procurement.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for professional and hourly employees.
• Research and recommend new manufacturing technologies, processes, and methods.
• Provide technical and engineering support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure quality output.
• Promote the use of SmartCAM software and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the company.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Materials, and other departments to achieve operational objectives.
• Promote a safe and organized work environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
