Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Machining Preferred in Lima, OH. You will interpret drawings, develop production processes, and support tooling and fixturing for machining complex military vehicle components.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, familiarity with CAD/CAM tools (MasterCam, Creo), and strong communication. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field with relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD/CAM and 3D modeling software; MasterCam & Creo a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and 3D models for manufacturability.
• Develop processes and instructions for production operators.
• Create and optimize CNC programs for 3- to 5-axis mills; support tooling and fixturing.
