Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking a Senior Production/Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes, document workflows, and oversee the implementation of new methods and tooling. You will drive Lean Six Sigma projects, perform risk assessments, and monitor KPIs for quality, delivery and cost.

Collaborating with Operations and program management, you will prepare cost estimates, track schedules, and support capital equipment installations or new product development as needed.

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge of core manufacturing processes (toolmaking, assembly, inspection).
• Experience with exotic metals (Inconel, Titanium, Metal Matrix Composites).
• Knowledge of GD&T and industry standards; Lean Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and workflow.
• Provide process documentation and detailed operating instructions.
• Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Examine existing processes and suggest improvements in methods and tooling.
• Investigate and troubleshoot problems with processes and operations.
• Monitor KPIs (Quality, Delivery, Cost) and investigate under-performing processes.
• Lead and support Lean deployment, 6S, and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Prepare detail cost estimates for quotes.
