Job summary

Paragon Tempered Glass, LLC, a leading glass manufacturer with facilities in Ohio and Michigan, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Niles, MI. You will translate customer requirements into CAD drawings, production prints, and CNC programs for glass processing on the shop floor.

You’ll drive prototype-to-production transitions, set up part data in Infor Visual ERP, and support ISO 9001 quality initiatives, including document control and internal audits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of 2D CAD experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Experience using an ERP system (Infor Visual preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clear written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Antwerp, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer drawings, sketches, and templates into accurate CAD drawings and production prints.
• Create, revise, and control 2D/3D part drawings from customer inputs.
• Write, test, and debug CNC programs for glass cutting and grinding equipment.
• Enter and maintain part data in the ERP system (Infor Visual) for two plants.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 quality system including document control and internal audits.
