Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge Engineering and Production, ensuring designs are practical to build and manufactured safely with high quality.

You will support new product introductions and continuous improvement across welding, machining, piping, and assembly. The role emphasizes process documentation, tooling development, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication, production, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, welding, machining, piping, and assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical link between Engineering and Production.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and engineering changes for manufacturability.
• Support new product introductions and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality initiatives.
• Lead process improvements and root cause investigations.
• Participate in design reviews and production planning.
