• Lead improvements in process yield, quality, cycle time, inventory access, and delivery.
• Lead a team of SMT machine operators and process technicians.
• Monitor manufacturing quality and develop manufacturing plans.
• Process and record data to improve programming and increase efficiency.

Job Function: A Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Process Engineer generally assists in the production line of surface‑mount technologies, which involve attaching electronic materials to printed circuit boards. Finished products are inspected to assess quality. The SMT Engineer provides feedback or makes fixes when necessary, inspects machines, tools, and materials to ensure proper operation, and monitors personnel to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field; M.S./M.B.A. in Engineering or related disciplines is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience; experience in electronic manufacturing is a plus.
