Job summary

Voltava, a premier manufacturing partner in Michigan, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement assembly processes that meet customer requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives.

You will lead new processes, equipment, tooling, automation, and robotics from development through launch, partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve design, manufacturability, and quality issues while supporting adoption of new technologies and continuous improvements to efficiency and

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
2+ years with APQP, PFMEA and control plans.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and PM skills.
Knowledge of tooling, equipment, automation, and automotive assembly applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across levels.
Familiarity with IATF quality systems and MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement assembly processes that meet customer requirements and cost objectives.
Lead implementation of new processes, equipment, tooling, automation, and robotics from development through launch.
Coordinate with plant, engineering, QA, PC&L, suppliers, and launch teams to ensure robust production processes.
Support continuous improvement to increase efficiency, throughput, quality, and reliability.
