Hearth & Home Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Mt. Pleasant, IA to lead automation, process improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives in the Fireplaces Business Unit.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive meaningful changes in manufacturing capabilities. This role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 4+ years of manufacturing experience, with CAD proficiency (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and strong Lean CI knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/related field required; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or CI experience.
• Experience with CAD platforms: Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality across the facility.
• Partner with Production, Operations, and New Product Development to drive continuous improvement and manufacturability solutions.
• Evaluate design changes in Creo/SolidWorks and ensure seamless production implementation.
• Optimize product designs, processes, and workflows for productivity, quality, and scalability.
• Design and implement poke-yoke solutions to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.
• Identify, develop, and deploy automation to increase throughput and ergonomics.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept to implementation with measurable results.
• Analyze production data and trends to uncover opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
