Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Ability to create and interpret technical documents.
• 1 year of CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Simulation experience preferred (FEA, CFD, Motion).
• 3D printing experience is a plus.
• Experience with industrial robots is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Improve and implement production processes through observation and analysis.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve manufacturing problems.
• Work within established design and engineering practices.
• Design straightforward machined parts or new features.
• Develop understanding of machine functions and perform part selection.
• Collaborate on designing automated systems, including robotics.
• Work hands-on with systems to ensure they function as required.
• Communicate technical information to engineering and management personnel.
