Job summary

Recruiters' Network Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a fabrication-focused role in the Augusta area.

The engineer will plan and design manufacturing processes, improve throughput, and ensure product quality in a heavy manufacturing environment. The position requires tooling experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and automation exposure, with cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement as core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Experience with tooling and automation including robotics/PLCs.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods and lean tools.
• Design and implement production process for new products and changes.
• Conduct FMEAs on new and existing products.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimize processing.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve productivity.
• Create work instructions, SOW, inventories, and parts planning.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, controls integration, fixturing, gauging.
